Questions

Where does the data come from?

Government registries: the FMCSA USDOT census, the CMS NPPES weekly NPI file, Florida DBPR, Washington L&I, Texas TDLR and Texas HHSC. Each file names its source.

How new is “new”?

Each feed uses the registry's own date where it has one (USDOT add date, NPI enumeration date, original license date, effective or issuance date). The Texas trades feed has no date, so we compare the registry week to week and send what's new.

Can I call or text these numbers?

You're responsible for following the TCPA, the National Do Not Call Registry and state rules. Many are personal or mobile numbers: check them against the Do Not Call list and don't use auto-dialers or texts without the consent the law requires. See the Data Use Policy.

Can I use the data for screening or credit decisions?

No. We aren't a consumer reporting agency, and the data can't be used for credit, insurance underwriting, employment or housing decisions.

How do I cancel?

Anytime, from the customer portal link in every email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've paid for.
